Baby Reindeer starts off with a thoughtful move. While waiting to make big with his comedy Donny works in a pub. One day Martha arrives with a big smile and flushed cheeks but not enough cash to buy a drink. As a result of Donny making her tea on the house two people develop a twisted and occasionally dangerous physical bond. Every day Martha begins to come into the pub and tell Donny elaborate stories about her career as a celebrity lawyer. She shows Donny a lot of attention which is partially accepted.
