You may find it hard to believe that Tarot is based on Nicholas Adams’ Horrorscope. This is because the writers wrote a rough screenplay. The friends are shown briefly at the start. Then, they’re together in the basement for a tarot reading. Each of them dies in a way their card reading hinted at. What comes next is mild supernatural horror. It’s not very frightening or exciting. The story simply goes through the triggers. Then it slows down to explain the supernatural creatures in the cards. This makes the story repetitive.The villain is not well developed because the backstory is too short. The backstory needs to be longer to better develop the villain.
