Reggie is a naive Border Terrier who is abandoned on the dangerous city streets by his careless owner Doug in the movie Strays. However, never notices Doug’s faults. His devoted owner would undoubtedly never abandon him on intentionally. Reggie, however, has a change of heart after becoming friends with Bug, a quick-witted, foul-mouthed Boston terrier. The latter is a stray who values his independence and rejects the idea that canines should be under the owner’s authority. Reggie ultimately understands that his relationship with Doug was toxic, and with Bug’s help, he starts to see Doug for the cruel boss that he really was.
