Mon Mothma, who accomplished so much to oppose the Empire in Star Wars: Andor and Star Wars Rebels, appears helpless in the dialogue, eventually having to bow to the views of the other senators, despite attending the conference as chancellor. Senator Hamato Xiono, whose son Kaz starred in the animated series Star Wars: Resistance, stands out as a lovely Easter Eegg for fans.
