It became clear as the movie went on that the Flash had been alternating between two different Earths on a regular basis. Earth-1 was the first. Here, Barry met Iris West and acquired his powers. I put out the notion of creating a superhero league. This is to protect Earth from Amazo, the wicked android created by Lex Luthor. Earth-3 was the second reality. Crisis on Two Earths included this.
