The episode commences with a young boy who is bound to a chair near a blazing fire in the year 1996. Surrounding him are individuals wearing masks, and one of them proceeds to unveil their face. Following the opening sequence, Maya Stern and several others gather to pay their respects at Joe Burkett’s funeral. Through a flashback, Maya recalls meeting Joe at an extravagant charity event. During their conversation, Maya mentions her imminent departure back to the base in approximately eleven hours. Joe expresses his desire to make the most of their remaining time together.
