Birth/Rebirth 2023

Frankenstein is the well-known horror story by Mary Shelley. He is re imagined in Birth/Rebirth in an interesting way. It combines two different types of motherhood that represent what a woman would do to save a child’s life. The insightful script by Moss and Brendan J. O’Brien is both constrictive and exploratory. Although it sometimes falls short of the themes at the heart of its story, Judy Reyes and Marin Ireland’s outstanding performances elevate this script to a watchable level.
