In Gerwig’s film dedicated to Barbie, the doll’s life is perfect in the colorful and simulated Barbieland, a magical place where every day is as wonderful as the day before and the day after because everything is eternal! However, it is here that Barbie begins to have thoughts of death that give some very disturbing hints, making her worse than the others. So Barbie forces herself into the real world, where she must discover and solve the origin of the disease.
