Women Talking 2022

In the film Women Talking, eight women from a remote Mennonite colony are introduced to us. They have recently discovered that the males in their religious society have been drugging and raping their women, including teenage girls, for years. Currently, a number of the ladies are contemplating whether or not they should leave the community with their kids in tow. A lone male ally of the community named August is helping to record the discussion. The dialogues that follow enable individuals to process all of their feelings following their discovery and finally choose where their futures are located.
